He is survived by: his wife Kay James Welch of Lake City; his children, Scotty Welch (Becky) of Mt. Pleasant and Cindy Carson of Greenville; his stepson Scott Anderson; his granddaughters, Maggie Welch of Mt Pleasant and Anna Welch of Mt Pleasant; and his sister-in-law Nettie McCutcheon of Lake City.
