He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Carlisle Shuler and Ruth Griffin Shuler; and his granddaughter Madelyn Clayton Shuler. He is survived by: his wife Kim Sanders Shuler; his children, Ashley Morgan Shuler and Corey Daniel Shuler (Kayla Fralix Shuler); his granddaughter Allison Maude Shuler; and his brothers, Ted Howard Shuler (Gwen), Michael "Mac" Shuler (Cindy) and Dahl Carlisle Shuler (Karen). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Surrounding COVID-19, details pertaining to the arrangements of a memorial service will be disclosed by the family at a later date.

Memorials may be made to Providence United Methodist Church c/o Frankie Dantzler, 2988 Bass Drive, Santee, SC 29142.
