She was predeceased by: her parent Arlee; her husbands, John L. Harbeson and Van Lee Day; her son Johnnie Harbeson; her great grandchild Brandon Fontenot; and her siblings, Virginia K. Way, William Knight, Vickie K. Roberson, Jerome Knight, Thelma Knight and James Knight.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn H. Knight (Wayne) of North Charleston and Adele Burt (Gene); her siblings, Wallace Knight (Dicksie), Frances Ardis, Catherine Reeves and Dot Smith; and her daughter-in-law Cindy Harbeson. She is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
