She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Neal and Sam Neal, Jr; her daughter Tiffany Y. Shaw; and her brothers, Marion Neal, Morgan Neal and Walter Neal.
She is survived by: her husband Wilbert L. Shaw, Sr.; her son Wilbert S. Shaw, Jr.; her stepdaughters, Shawounda Shivers and Latonya Pearson; her sister Riller Green; and her grandchildren, Kimberly Pearson, Tylajah Williams, Diamond Shaw, Latron Shivers, Trine Walker and Aiden Shaw. She is also survived by three great grandchildren; two God Children; and a host of nieces; nephews.
