He was predeceased by: his parent Johnnie Wade; his grandparents, Ernest Lewis, Floyd Wade, Alma Lewis and Rosa Wade; and his sister Sabrina Peppers.
He is survived by: his mother Ernestine Lewis of Columbia, SC; his daughter Makyah Lewis of Charleston, SC; his siblings, Bernard Lewis (Carrie) of Columbia, SC and Sharon Wade of St. George, SC; his aunts and uncles, Arlene Carroll (Willie) of St. George, SC, Johnnie Mae Lewis of St. George, SC, Evelyn Salley of Columbia, SC, Winston Lewis of Summerville, SC, Jerome Wade of St. George, SC and Thomas Wade of St. George, SC; his cousins, Tyree Carroll of St. George, SC and Aldridge Lewis of St. George, SC; the mother of his child Ahinsa Rogers; and his close friend Marilyn Rice. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
