He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert "Hub" Blanchard and Beryl Blanchard; and his sister Jane Shropshire of Washington. He is survived by: his wife Paula; his children, Tracy Blanchard (Darren Turner), Elliot and Joel (Lindsey); his grandchildren, Emory and Rylan; his great grandchild Micah (Casey) of Roebuck; and his siblings, Elizabeth "Pan" Millwood of Anderson, Judy Hayes of Jonesville, Lynn Lawson of Spartanburg and Ronald Blanchard of Boiling Springs.
