He is survived by: his wife Dianne Cox Bennett; his son Gerald Bennett (Jeanine); his sister Carolyn B. Jackson; his grandchildren, Andrew Bennett (Soyoung), Olivia B. Wilson (Jake), Reagan Bennett, Thomas Bennett, Susan Waldrop (Jamie), Russell Milner and Mason Milner; and his friend Billy Coggins.
