She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene A. Kloskey and Lucille Stephens Kloskey. She is survived by: her husband Lewis Carroll Kirby; her daughters, Sheila Kirby Gentry (Mike) of Inman, SC and Sharon Kirby; her grandsons, Cooper Gentry and Kirby Gentry; and her brother Rick Kloskey (Cheryl) of Pacolet, SC..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Luke United Methodist Church, 105 McKay Ave., Spartanburg, SC 29302 or to Agape Hospice, 123 Dillon Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
