He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley Marlowe and Elizabeth Patrick Vereen Marlowe; his wife Helen Louise Simmons Marlowe; his brother John Wilbur Marlowe; and his half-sisters, Ruby Vereen Lewis and Pearl Vereen Hucks Heaton. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
