It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sollene Rivers McKie in Rock Hill, South Carolina, born in Beaufort, South Carolina, who passed away on April 30, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie Rivers and Alvina Mae Jenkins Rivers; her siblings, Harvey, Eugene, Marvin, Bennie Rivers, Jr., Irene Furman, Julia B Green, Mary Shannon and Inez Singleton; and her brother-in-law Horace McKie.

She is survived by: her husband Freddie McKie; her children, Raynolda T. McKie of Atlanta, GA, Andrea T. McKie-Bradley (Jeremiah) of Rock Hill and Kevin T McKie (Janet) of Atlanta; her sisters, Walterene Conyers of Savannah, GA, Etha Nell Harston (Jacob) of Chicago, IL and Cynthia Parker (Ronnie) of Jacksonville, NC; her grandchildren, Tyrone D. Billingsly (Cassandra), McKenzy J. McKie, Ava Ellyce McKie and Jalon Draper; and her siblings-in-law, Synita Gardner (Gene), Jacob McKie (Lois), Bobby McKie (Marilyn), Bonita Mckie, Gerald McKie (Geneeva), Audrey McKie and Emma Rivers. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

The family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 1901 Brunswick Ave., Suite 100, Charlotte, NC 28207.
