She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Knox and Josie Dallas Knox; her son Stephen R. Thompson; and also Rev. Raymond W. Thompson. She is survived by: her daughter Beth T. Smith (Wayne) of Rock Hill; her daughter-in-law Leslie Ballard Thompson of Rock Hill; her grandchildren, Tyler Thompson of Rock Hill, Reid Thompson (Meredith) of Rock Hill, Joshua Smith of Charlotte, NC, William Smith of Charlotte and Sarah Smith of Rock Hill; and her great grandchild Ellington Thompson of Rock Hill.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Catawba Baptist Church Benevolent Fund, Catawba Baptist Church, 1450 S. Anderson Road, Rock Hill, SC 29730.
