With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rosetta Griffin of Rock Hill, South Carolina, born in Greenwood, South Carolina, who passed away on May 4, 2021 at the age of 78. She was predeceased by: her spouse Willie Griffin, Sr.; her parents, John Lyons and Rosa Evans Lyons; her children, Willie Griffin, Jr., Christopher Griffin, Angela Griffin and Bernice Griffin; and her son-in-law John Oliver.

She is survived by: her son Melvin Griffin (Vitanza) of Rock Hill, SC; her adoptive sons, Demarco Griffin and Omarion Griffin; her daughters, Linda Oliver of Greenwood, Tonia Griffin of Greenwood, Tamara Griffin of Greenwood and Christa Griffin of Greenwood; her adoptive daughters, Sharrika Griffin, Cadaria Griffin and Felicia Griffin; her daughter-in-law Tammy Griffin; her brother John T. Lyons of Spartanburg, SC; her stepdaughter Wanda Dula; her sisters, Bernice Lyons, Margaret Harrison of Greenwood and Elizabeth Belcher of Columbia, SC; and her close friend Willie Mae Williams. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren and a hos t of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
