He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Franklin Knight Sr. and Ellen Goodson Knight; and his siblings, Ed, Harry, Charlie, Ellen Miller, Sarah Mobley, Arleen Robertson and Doris Calvert.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Workman Knight; his children, Bob Knight (Crista), Naomi Cauthen (Mark) of Rock Hill and Sarah Jones (Steve) of Rock Hill; his granddaughter Robyn; his great grandchild Piper of Fort Mill; his granddaughters, Carlie of Herndon and Markie (Cody); and his great grandchild Crew of Sanford, NC..
