He was predeceased by: his parents, James Augustus Jones and Ethel Carter Jones; and his wives, Geneva Herren Jones and Helen Jones. He is survived by: his daughters, Patricia Jones Kirkman (Ken) and Susan Jones Dove (Rick); and his grandchildren, Marshall Kirkman (Stephanie) of Rock Hill, Spencer Kirkman of Rock Hill, Shelby Dove of Rock Hill, Addison DeLoach (Brandon) of Bluffton, SC and Paul Dove of Columbia, SC. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
