He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Ann Hughes; his children, Brian Hughes (Mary), Christopher Hughes (Stacy), Michael Hughes (Kristin), Layne Lanpher (Jesse Lovejoy) and Brandyn Lanpher; his siblings, David Hughes (Alicia), Donald "Don" Hughes (Terry), Rick Hughes, Pat Carpenter (Rich), Margie Kosch, Jan Greenlee and Deb Hughes; his grandchildren, Ericka Niederhaus (Danny), Joey Hughes, Jacob Hughes, Hailleigh Hughes, Kendal O'Neal, Madison Hughes, Reese Hughes and Ryen Hughes; and his close friends, Sophie, Allie and Tara. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, extended family.
