He was predeceased by: his brother James "Buddy" Cook; his parents, James "Jimmy" Cook and Lois Smith Cook; his brother-in-law Charles Shirley; his sister Joyce Cook Shirley; and his pets, Fred and Skeeter.
He is survived by: his wife Debra Roxanna Wilson Cook; his sisters, Kathy Cook Krzemien of Rock Hill, SC and Carol Cook Burns (Bobby R. Burns) of York, SC; and his daughters, Angela Sisk Starnes (William Edward Starnes) and Kandi Holder Alvarez. He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
Donations to honor Mr. Michael Cook may be made to any local hospice or center that cares for those in need that the donor may choose.
