He was predeceased by: his siblings, Fred Hyatt, Frank Hyatt, Horace Hyatt, Zeldon Hyatt and Jeannette Hyatt.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Jones Hyatt; his children, Marvin Alton Hyatt, Jr. (Janice) of Rock Hill and Laura Hyatt Sweat of Rock Hill; his grandchildren, Alton, Katie Jane and Tyler; and his sisters, Geraldine Hyatt and Hazel McNair of Dillon, S. C..
