He is survived by: his children, Wanda Williams (Eddie), Jimmy Carter, II (Deborah), Mark Carter (Sheila) and Edie Strange; his brothers, Roger Carter (Nadine), Calvin Carter (Paulette), David Carter (Phyllis) and Donald Carter (Phyllis); and his brother-in-law Jack Carnes.
