She was predeceased by: her parents, Ireland Pruitt and Edith Pruitt. She is survived by: her husband David Whisonant; her brother Garnett Pruitt; her sons, Chris Whisonant (Jen) of Acworth, GA and Stephen Whisonant (Hayley) of Rock Hill; and her siblings, Wayne Pruitt of Van Wyck, Gayle Robinson of Mount Pleasant and Marlene Pardue of Heath Springs. She is also survived by her six grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Operation Christmas Child (Samaritan's Purse) since Christmas was her favorite time of year.
