He was predeceased by: his parents, James Franklin and Mildred Shaw Hamilton; and his daughter Tracey L. Hamilton. He is survived by: his wife Lynne Worrell Hamilton; his son Joseph Franklin "Joe" Hamilton (Ashley); his grandchildren, Weiland and Marett; and his brothers, William F. "Lin" Hamilton (Dale) and Boyce L. Hamilton (Shelly). He is also survived by nephews, a niece, and uncles.
