He was predeceased by: his parents, James Olin "Bill" Lucas and Wilma Payne Lucas; and his brother Timothy C. "Tim" Lucas. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Lowery Lucas; his son Shawn Daniel Lucas; his sisters, B. Joyce Newman (Calvin) of Rock Hill, SC and Nancy Taylor (Bobby) of Kershaw, SC; his sister-in-law Beckie Lucas of Lancaster, SC; and his stepchildren, Robert Derrick Vincent (Angie) of Kershaw, SC, Donna Robertson (Joseph) of Kershaw, SC and Sheri Giles of Lancaster, SC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren.
