She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas S. McDowell and Ruth McLaughlin McDowell; her husband Richard O. Kuehne; her grandson Matt Johnson; and her sister Gloria Garbutt.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Brent Kuehne (Carrie) of Dillard, GA and Erin Johnson (David) of Gastonia, NC; and her granddaughters, Katie Johnson, Lindsey Johnson and Jessie Kuehne.
