It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Covington Griggs of Rock Hill, South Carolina, who passed away on April 6, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Harold Covington and Dorothy Carnes Covington. She is survived by: her children, David C. Griggs (Linda) of Rock Hill, Kathryn J. "Kathy" Griggs of Edgefield and Susan G. Jolly (Joel) of Edgefield; her grandchildren, Rebekah J. Griggs of Columbia, SC, Turner J. Jolly of Edgefield, Rhett G. Jolly of Edgefield, Benjamin "Ben" M. Jolly of Edgefield, Clifford T. "Thomas" Jolly of Edgefield and Christopher E. Jolly of Edgefield; and her siblings, Sidney Harold Covington (Margaret) of Columbus, NC and Mamie Covington Jackson of Rock Hill. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
