He is survived by: his mother Barbara Jean Lassiter Stepp of Wilmington; his wife CellaDora Lawrence; his children, Jonathan Robert Lawrence (Shanelle) of Rock Hill, D'Wayne Edward Lawrence, Jr. of Rock Hill, Cheryl Lynn Lawrence of Rock Hill and Theresa Marie Lawrence of Rock Hill; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Leanne and Alexa Jean Lawrence; and his siblings, George Robert Lawrence, Jr. (Linda) of Dover Delaware, Tyler Robert Lawrence of Crete and Barbara Jean "BJ" Plath (Michael) of Wilmington. He is also survived by numerous aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a cancer foundation of the donor's choice.
