It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Hugh Christy Sr. of Rock Hill, South Carolina, born in Kannapolis, North Carolina, who passed away on December 22, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Hugh Christy and Margie Wade Christy; his wife Dianne Pressley Christy; his daughter Lisa Ann Christy; and his sister Peggy Jo An Hughes.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Christy-McCormick (Andy) of Rock Hill, SC and Donald Hugh Christy Jr. (Lisa Ellis) of St Louis, MO; his siblings, Lois Faye Rayfield (Ed) of Rockwell, NC, Pamela G. Rodgers (Phil) of Mooresville, NC and Michael Keith Christy of Murphy, NC; his grandchildren, Donald Weston Christy (Mary) and Makayla Rachelle McCormick; his great grandchildren, Lincoln Hugh Christy and Declan Reece Christy; and his friend James Carroll (Marsha). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
