He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Frederick Nathan and Edna Mae Hayward; his brother Robert Durbin (Mary Lynn); his son-in-law Charles Gorospe; and his brother-in-law Ronald Brennan.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lynn Brennan; his children, Michelle Marie Gorospe (Jim Hawkins), John David Hayward (Lainey) and James Frederick Hayward (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Andrew (Mary Elizabeth), Christopher (Katie), Patrick (Patricia), Sophia (Jordon), James (Julia), Mary Abigail (Armando), Edward, Taylor, Drew, David, Charlotte and John William; and his sister-in-law Joyce Brennan. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
