He was predeceased by: his father Arthur Joe Smith; his wife Deborah Harris Smith; and his brother Ricky G. Smith. He is survived by: his mother Mary Ann Hartness Harris of Rock Hill; his stepchildren, Amanda Faile (Charley) of Rock Hill, SC and Darryl McGraw Jr. (Jawnie) of Burley, ID; and his siblings, Teresa Smith Parrish of Rock Hill, SC, Donald W Smith of Rock Hill, SC and Kenneth W Laney (Danielle) of Royston, GA. He is also survived by his five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and his seven nieces and nephews.
