He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert M. Ussery and Myrtle Brooks Ussery. He is survived by: his daughters, MaryEllen Ussery Allen of Engelhard, NC and Laurie Ussery Welch of York, SC; his sister Ellen Knott of Charlotte, NC; and his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Welch, Mackenzie Welch and Steven Max Welch.
