He was predeceased by: his son Avionce Green; his parents, Woodrow Green and Elise Green; and his sisters, Jewel Green and Lavurn Green.

He is survived by: his wife Dora Green; his son AJ Green (Miranda); his grandchildren, Easton Green and Gunnar Green; and his siblings, Harriet Green, Barbara Green Smalls, C. L. Green, Shirley Green Sanders, Terry Green and Cynthia Green Thompson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
