He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Kinard and Gwendelyn Kinard; and his siblings, William Ferrell Kinard Jr. and Martha Kinard Hood. He is survived by: his wife Linda Kinard; his grandchildren, Stephen W. Kinard III, Haley E. Kinard, Amanda G. Kinard and Benjamin A. Kinard; his stepgrandchildren, Kaitlin A. Stroble and Megan L. Stroble; his great grandchildren, Reid C. Harrison (Amanda) and Leighton L. Player (Megan); and his friend Elizabeth Clayton.
