He is survived by: his wife Bridget Davis Battle; his sisters-in-law, Joyce Davis of Columbia, S. C. and Angelin Butler (Joseph) of Ridge Springs, S. C.; his children, Joseph Haskins, Cheryl Battle, James Battle Jr., Kris Simmons (Leroy) and Donna Battle; his sister Blanche Riley (Battle) of Beech Island, S. C.; his grandchildren, James Battle, Jasmine Battle, Jessica Little, Kevin Little Jr., Devin Battle, Anthony Battle and Donna Battle; and his friend Dallas Frazier. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
