She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon A. Bowers and Mary Lee Koth Starr; and her brothers, Reggie Bowers and Rusty Bowers. She is survived by: her husband Farrin G. Barber of Port Royal, SC; her children, Mark Summers (Lori), BJ King (Cindy), Lorry Barber Stufflebeam (Allen) and Leayn Barber; her siblings, Vernon Bowers (Judy), Stevie Bowers (Lynn), Tony Starr (Angie), Mary Cartledge (Mac) and Patricia Starr (Monica); and her grandchildren, Megan Summers Oelsen (Marshall), Ashley Summers, Will Summers, Danielle King, Kristen King, Ryan King, Savanah Ortega, Morgan Cruikshank, Elizabeth Barber (Layn) and Lance Barber.
