He was predeceased by: his parents, William Samuel and Clarice Taylor Squires Stephens, Sr.; and his siblings, June Swallows, Joyce Smith and Murrel Dean Stephens.
He is survived by: his wife Carole Pearcy; his children, Don Stephens, Jr. (Brenda) and Meri C. Vire; his grandchildren, Brandy Tyma (William), Jamie Hobson, Haley Stephens, Huntur Stephens, Michael, Chance and Chad Vire; his great grandchildren, Stella Tyma and Hope Vire; and his siblings, Wanda Saccaro, Besty Kramzar, Rebecca Knoles, Chet (Billie), William (Georgine), Kenny and Gregg. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
