He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Bruce and Elizabeth Graham Forsyth. He is survived by: his wife Debra McDonald Forsyth; his children, Hannah Forsyth Roach (Brian) of Belton, Rachel Forsyth Calvert (John), Robert Bruce Forsyth (Leika), Elizabeth Forsyth Hendrix (Timothy) of Oman and Mary Ruth Forsyth of Greenville; and his grandchildren, Abigail, Hadassah, Samuel Roach, Rachael, Levi, Jessie, Selah Forsyth, Locke and Leif Hendrix.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Piedmont Women's Center, 1143 Grove Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
