She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur Smith; her parents, Leonard Brooks and Jessie Dakota Pike Lipscomb; and her siblings, Frances Lipscomb Hitt, Clara Lipscomb Turner, Edwin "Ed" and William "Bud" Lipscomb.
She is survived by: her daughter Cindy Jennings Brazell (Emmett) of Lexington; her brothers, Ernest "Jimmy" Lipscomb of Cross Hill and Donald "Donnie" Lipscomb of Ormond; her grandchildren, Kelli Brazell (Bryant Harrington) and Michael Brazell; and her great grandchild Payton Harrington. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren.
