He was predeceased by: his parents, Duke William and Pauline Nix Reece; his wife Shirley Crawford Reece; his daughter Lisa Simmons; and his sisters, Ruth Martin, Edna Lee Reece, Mildred Derossett, Jean Cappel, Helen Sexton and Linda FInley.
He is survived by: his daughter Ann Clardy (Greg) of Liberty; his brother Carl Reece of Pickens; his grandson James Moser of Liberty; his great grandchildren, Amber Thomas and Brenden Moser; and his close friend Connie Evans.
No services are planned and the family asks that any memorials be made to Miracle Hill Ministries or Pickens County Meals on Wheels.
