She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert E. Powell and Lizzie Mae Bagwell Powell; and her siblings, Ralph, Earl, Ray, Harold Powell and Evelyn Bryant.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Gouge of Pickens, Teri Kirkland of Greenville, Phyllis Hayes of Greenville and Bruce Hamilton (Dona) of Pelzer; and her siblings, Linda Galloway (John), Debra Phillips (Mike), Ruth James (Dennis), Lorraine Stone and Donald Powell (Connie). She is also survived by four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
