He is survived by: his children, Deborah Simmons (Debbie) and Gary Dale Simmons (Robin); his grandchildren, Jonathan Davis (Taylor), Josh Davis (Brittany), Justin Simmons (Rachel), Dillon Simmons (Emileigh) and Kendra Dixion; and his siblings, Clarance Grady Simmons, Jr. (Violet), Donald James Simmons (Doris), Marion Vann Simmons (Terry) and Martha Anne Simmons Coleman (Phil). He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
