It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry Porter Moore Jr. (Pawleys Island, South Carolina), born in Bishopville, South Carolina, who passed away on February 8, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Lee Shaw and Henry Porter Moore; his wife Virginia Wyatt Matthews Moore; his cousin Gene Moore; and his nephew Alan Henry Johnstone.

He is survived by: his children, Henry P. Moore, III (Georgi) of Inman, SC and Virginia Lee Moore (Marty Rhoades) of Surfside Beach, SC; his granddaughter Virginia "Ginna" Matthews Moore; his sisters-in-law, Annette Matthews and Susan Pond; his cousin Donnie Moore; and his nieces and nephews, Anna "Nan" Straughn, Thomas "Tam" Kennerly Johnstone, III, Eugene Hamilton Matthews, Daniel Hill Matthews, Alycen Nigro, Anne Linton Henderson and David Pond.
