He was predeceased by: his father Willie Keith; and his wife Hazel. He is survived by: his daughters, Orietta Gayle Powell of West Columbia, SC and Audrey; his siblings, Eugene Keith (Rosa) of Harrisburg, PA, Mary Johnson of Columbia, SC, Thomas Keith (Loretta) of Columbia, SC and Sadie M. Culler of Bronx, NY; his sister-in-law Janette Funchess of Orangeburg, SC; his grandson Robert Q. Powell Sr. (Marie); and his great grandchildren, Robert Q. Powell Jr. of West Columbia, SC and Scarlett M. Powell of West Columbia, SC. He is also survived by four grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
