He was predeceased by: his parents, James Preston Richardson, Sr. and Mildred Ernestine Anderson Richardson; his wife Carolyn Redmond Richardson; and his siblings, Leonard Richardson and Brenda Matthewes.
He is survived by: his children, James "Jimmy" Richardson (Becky) of Lexington and Lisa Watford (Woody) of Orangeburg; his siblings, Billy Richardson of Ft. Lauderdale, Helen Matthewes (Nick) of Columbia and Bety Sue Dubard (Ronnie) of Greenwood, MS; his grandchildren, Woodrow "Trey" Watford III (Calli), Tatum Watford, Ross Richardson and Kara Richardson; his great grandchildren, Raelynn Richardson, Keaton Richardson and Karmyn Richardson; and his children, Hosptial, Faris Rd of Greenville, SC, Edisto Habitat, Humanity and Box.
