It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diane Lynn Rast of Orangeburg, South Carolina, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on May 11, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean A. Geddings, Sr. and Patricia McColeman Geddings; and her husband Lenaire Harry "Boogie" Rast. She is survived by: her siblings, Dawn Joyner, Denise Garrett (Virgil "Bubba"), Deena Atkinson, Dean Geddings, Jr. and Danni Geddings; and her close friend Jerry Rhymes. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles.
