She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Walker, Sr. and Bobbie Townsend Walker; her husband Don Guess; and her brother Lester Walker. She is survived by: her brother Richard "Rick" Walker, Jr. (Rebecca Tucker); and her pet Cocopella. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Maude Schiffley SPCA at 225 Ruf Rd, Orangeburg, S.C. 29118.
