She was predeceased by: her parents, Vance Whetstone and Mary Berry Whetstone; and her sister Irene Whetstone Irick. She is survived by: her husband Charles Shuler; her children, Robin Johnson (Heath), Rod Shuler (Tana) and Christy Davis; her grandchildren, Cody Johnson (Cassidy), Kaitlin Johnson, Dylan Shuler, Carson Shuler and Breanna Courtney; and her brother Homer Whetstone (Gail). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
