She was predeceased by: her parents, Asbury F. Wolfe and Julia A. M. Wolfe; her husbands, C. J. Hartley and Woodrow Nettles; her sons, Billy, Gary and Ronald Nettles; and her siblings, Archie, Asbury, Harry, Rigba Wolfe and Mildred W. Branham.
She is survived by: her son Julian Hartley (Rosie); her grandchildren, Julian, Jr., Ronald Galloway (Rebecca), Eric Galloway (Brittany), Jessica Massey and Angela B. Nettles; her great grandchildren, Henry, Jacob, Kristy, Daisy and Bryndel; and her siblings, William Wolfe, Ida W. Hammond and Betty W. Cook. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
