It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Consolie Hegler of North Augusta, South Carolina, who passed away on January 18, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Anthony and Theresa N. Consolie; and her brother Anthony S. Consolie. She is survived by: her husband Thomas D. Hegler, Jr.; her sister Ginny Consolie Lackey; her children, Susan Hegler Jenkins (Craig) and John Russell (Noelle); and her grandchildren, Cameron, Lauren Jenkins, Carson and Sawyer Hegler. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
