He was predeceased by: his parents, William Roland Rowell, Jr. and Miriam Causey Rowell; his brother Mitchell Rowell; and his son-in-law Alfred Garner, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Judy Cole Rowell; his children, Kevin Rowell and Michelle Rowell Garner of Nichols; and his brother Michael Rowell (Sheila) of Columbia. He is also survived by three nieces, a nephew, and two great-nephews.
