He was predeceased by: his parents, Rogers Legrand and Doris Causey Hammond. He is survived by: his wife Doris Roberts Hammond; his sons, Anthony "Hank" Hammond (Stephanie) of Six Mile, SC and Matthew Hammond (Theresa) of Smyrna, GA.; his grandsons, Ryan Hammond of Atlanta, GA and Stephen Hammond of Clemson, SC; his brothers, Danny Hammond (Bernice) of Nichols and Roger Dale Hammond (Becki) of Nichols; and his caregivers, Lillie Mae "Duke" Jordan, Louella "Lou" Green and Jimmy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, in-laws, friends.
