He is survived by: his spouse Bertie Johnson; his children, Britt Butler of Gallivants Ferry and Dora Hensley; his stepdaughters, Karen Hughes of Galivants Ferry, Shelia Johnson of Galivants Ferry, Denise Johnson of Galivants Ferry and Cynthia Anderson of Aynor; his siblings, Bill Butler of St. Paul, Helen McPherson of St. Paul and Elizabeth Smith of Wake Forest, NC; his grandchildren, Kip Butler, Hilary Green, Brittany Cannon and Skyler Butler; and also Fred Butler of Nichols. He is also survived by four great grandchildren, and many step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, and step great-great grandchildren.
