He was predeceased by: his parent Charlie Rowell; and his siblings, Wade Rowell, Janice Edwards and Cora Belle Ellis. He is survived by: his parent Bessie Hammond Rowell; his wife Shelby Hammond Rowell of Nichols; his children, Ray Rowell of Nichols, Houston "Hugh" Rowell of Nichols, Susie Watts (David) of Loris, Nancy Stanley (Larry) of Nichols and Gail Rowell Ford (Jerry) of Nichols; and his siblings, Guy Rowell of Nichols, Dolly King of Lake View and Ann Dillhoff (Jim) of Ohio. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
